Copart (CPRT) is in discussions to acquire car-insurance software provider CCC Intelligent Solutions (CCC), Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Copart is in a race with several private equity firms, including GTCR and Veritas Capital, that are also eyeing the acquisition of CCC, according to the report.

Talks are ongoing, with the possibility of another suitor emerging, the people told the media outlet.

Copart and CCC did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
