SJ Semiconductor's (SHA:688820) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half rose 3.3% to 449.4 million yuan from 434.9 million yuan in the previous year, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.

Earnings per share slipped year on year to 0.25 yuan from 0.26 yuan.

Operating revenue climbed 7.2% to 3.41 billion yuan from 3.18 billion yuan a year earlier.

The semiconductor wafer manufacturer's shares dropped 8% during the morning trade.
