Apple's camera-equipped AirPods remain on track for a 2027 launch, despite a recent software leak showing the product in action, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.
Apple had planned to introduce the earbuds this year, but supply chain and software issues led to a postponement to 2027, the report said. The earbuds are designed to use Apple's Visual Intelligence feature to analyze objects in the real world.
The leaked video, first published by MacRumors, fueled speculation that the AirPods could launch soon ahead of Apple's September iPhone event, Bloomberg reported.
