Equinor (EQNR) and Uniper have signed a 15-year agreement under which Equinor will supply more than 2.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually to Germany, the companies said Monday.
The agreement covers deliveries from Jan. 1, 2027, through Dec. 31, 2041, with gas delivered at Trading Hub Europe, the German gas market area.
Pricing will reflect market terms, while other commercial details were not disclosed, the companies said.
The companies also signed a non-binding letter of intent to explore potential sales from Equinor to Uniper of sustainability-related attributes linked to the gas supplies, they said.
