Piotech's (SHA:688072) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half skyrocketed 1,324% to 1.34 billion yuan from 94.3 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Friday disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.

Earnings per share climbed fourteenfold year on year to 4.70 yuan from 0.33 yuan.

Operating revenue jumped 49% to 2.91 billion yuan from 1.95 billion yuan in the previous year.

The semiconductor device manufacturer proposed a cash dividend of 3.50 yuan for every 10 shares.

The company's shares rose 2% during the morning trade.
