American Tungsten & Antimony (ASX:AT4) started wet table trials at the Del Sol hydrometallurgical refinery in Nevada, using material sourced from the company's Dutch Mountain tungsten project and third-party material sourced near the refinery, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

Results will be used to optimize concentrate production and inform the restart trial of the Del Sol antimony flake circuit, slated to start by the end of the September quarter, the filing said.

The company agreed to acquire Del Sol Refining and the White Spar Antimony Mine, but the deal is not completed yet, so it does not own or control the refinery or the mine at this time, per the filing.

American Tungsten & Antimony shares rose nearly 12% in morning trade Friday.
