Dollar General (DG) has formed a partnership with RELEX Solutions to implement AI-based forecasting, replenishment and allocation capabilities across its North American operations, RELEX said Thursday.

The platform will support replenishment, ordering, lead times, supplier coordination and fulfillment across Dollar General's 21,000-plus stores and 34 distribution centers, the company said.

Financial terms of the collaboration were not disclosed.

Dollar General shares were up 5.8% in premarket activity.
