Sanan Optoelectronics (SHA:600703) swung to an attributable net loss of 97.9 million yuan in the first half from a net profit of 176.5 million yuan a year earlier.

Loss per share stood at 0.02 yuan, versus earnings per share of 0.04 yuan a year earlier, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Wednesday.

Revenue fell 28% to 6.47 billion yuan from 8.99 billion yuan, the manufacturer of advanced compound semiconductor materials and devices said.
