Kingsemi's (SHA:688037) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half fell 49% to 8.1 million yuan from 15.9 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Wednesday disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.

Earnings per share dropped year on year to 0.04 yuan from 0.08 yuan.

Operating revenue rose 26% to 896.8 million yuan from 709.1 million yuan in the previous year.

The Chinese semiconductor device fabrication equipment producer's shares jumped 4% during the midday trade.
