American Airlines (AAL) is launching a number of new international flights and routes next summer, the company said Thursday.

The connections include direct flights between Charlotte and Barcelona; Chicago and Tokyo; New York and Amsterdam; a fourth daily flight between New York and London; New York and Nice, France; Philadelphia and Porto, Portugal; Philadelphia and Reykjavik, Iceland; and Philadelphia and Vienna, the company said.

The seasonal routes will begin between March 19 and May 27, the company said.
