RoboTechnik Intelligent Technology (SHE:300757) returned to profit in the first half, posting a net profit attributable to shareholders of 6.6 million yuan from the year-ago attributable loss of 33.3 million yuan, according to a Wednesday disclosure on the Shenzhen bourse.

Earnings per share were 0.04 yuan compared with the loss per share of 0.21 yuan a year earlier.

Operating revenue soared 145% to 608.5 million yuan from 248.5 million yuan in the previous year.

The Chinese automated equipment manufacturer's shares jumped 8% during the afternoon trade.
