Maas Group Holdings (ASX:MGH) affiliate Firmus has engaged retail brokerage firms for a planned initial public offering in Australia this year, and is getting ready to file the listing documents within the coming weeks, The Australian's DataRoom reported Monday, citing anonymous sources.
Firmus has hired Bell Potter, CommSec, and Ord Minnett as advisers, adding to a line-up that includes Morgans, Highbury Partnership, Bank of America, JPMorgan, and Morgan Stanley, according to the report.
Earlier in August, Maas Group agreed to acquire an additional AU$300 million of Firmus shares at AU$230 each, an Australian bourse filing showed.
Firmus declined to comment in response to a query from MT Newswires. Maas Group shares fell 2% in recent Monday trade.
