Enphase Energy (ENPH) said Thursday that it has expanded metering compatibility for its IQ EV Charger 2 across several European markets, allowing more homes to use smart EV charging without an Enphase solar or battery system.
The energy technology company said the charger can use data from compatible smart meters or current-transformer systems to adjust charging based on home electricity use and direct excess solar power to the vehicle.
The expanded integrations include Linky meters in France, P1/DSMR in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, and HAN connections in Norway, the company said.
