SK Hynix (SKHY) has yet to determine whether it will pursue fund raising ahead of a possible initial public offering for its Solidigm US subsidiary, the company said in a regulatory filing Friday.
The submission followed an Aug. 5 report in the Korea Economic Daily saying that Solidigm is attempting to raise 5 trillion Korean won ($3.69 billion) ahead of an IPO.
SK Hynix said while Solidigm "is reviewing various measures to strengthen its competitiveness, no matters have been determined as of the date hereof."
