Wall Street futures pointed moderately higher pre-bell Friday as traders again favored tech issues, while bond yields and crude oil prices slipped into neutral.

In the futures, the S&P 500 rose 0.1%, the Nasdaq inclined 0.5% and the Dow Jones was off 0.1%.

Investors also await the national non-farm payrolls report for August from Washington at 8:30 am ET, for a window into how the labor market is faring against higher energy bills and interest rates.

The VanEck Semiconductor fund (SMH) traded up 1.5% pre-bell.

West Texas Intermediate crude oil futures traded down 0.9% at $90.49 in morning action.

Asian exchanges traded mostly higher overnight, on easing interest rates and a tech-sector rally.

European bourses inched north midday on the continent.

Lululemon Athletica (LULU) traded down nearly 20% pre-bell after the clothing enterprise overnight reported fiscal Q2 earnings above expectations, but missed on revenue and cut fiscal 2026 guidance.

On the economic calendar, in addition to the jobs report, is the weekly Baker Hughes domestic oil-and-gas rig count at 1 pm ET.

In pre-market action, Bitcoin traded at $80,920, and 10-year US Treasuries offered 4.76%. Spot gold commanded $4,475 an ounce.
