Cloudflare Inc (NET) on Thursday launched Vulnerability Discovery and Remediation, an early-access service within its Managed Defense offering that uses OpenAI's Daybreak models, including GPT-5.6 Cyber, to identify software vulnerabilities, generate remediation recommendations and create code patches.

Cloudflare said all code fixes and security rule deployments require human approval. The offering is available by invitation to select enterprise customers.

The service combines AI-driven code analysis with Cloudflare's network traffic and security data to prioritise vulnerabilities and enable customers to deploy custom web application firewall rules to block exploitation attempts at the edge.
