Ciena (CIEN) reported fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings Thursday of $2.11 per diluted share, compared with $0.67 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.73.

Revenue for the quarter ended Aug. 1 was $1.67 billion, compared with $1.22 billion a year earlier.

Analysts expected $1.64 billion.

For fiscal Q4, the company expects revenue of $1.75 billion, plus or minus $50 million. Analysts are looking for $1.70 billion.

For fiscal 2026, Ciena said it now expects revenue of $6.42 billion, plus or minus $50 million. Analysts expect $6.34 billion.

The company's shares were up 3.3% in premarket activity.
