Metallus appointed Chief Operating Officer Kristopher Westbrooks as its next chief executive, succeeding Michael Williams.

The metal manufacturer said Williams notified that board that he would retire as CEO at the end of this year. He is expected to stay on as a special adviser to the CEO and board through June 2027.
