Humanwell Healthcare (SHA:600079) completed the sale of its 16.34% stake in Lefusi Health Industry held by its subsidiary RFSW Holding, to Wuhan Hairun Biotechnology, according to a Saturday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

The pharmaceutical company received the full payment of 955.4 million yuan, net of taxes and stamp duties, from the sale of 81.7 million shares.

The shares were sold via public bidding on the Beijing Equity Exchange, the pharmaceutical company said in its filing.

Humanwell expects the transaction to positively impact its bottom line by 500 million yuan.
