Lotte Holdings Co. and Nomura Real Estate Development Co. have announced details of Beat Park Osaka, a live music venue slated to open in March 2028 on the east side of JR Shin-Osaka Station in Osaka. With a capacity of approximately 1,600 people, it aims to serve as a hub for Japanese and South Korean artists.

The live music venue will be built on land owned by Lotte Holdings, a three-minute walk from Shin-Osaka Station. In addition to a stage equipped with high-definition large screens and sound systems, the venue will feature spaces where fans can socialize and enjoy food and drinks. The companies are also considering offering limited-edition gourmet dishes featuring Lotte products.

The two companies have established a joint venture company to manage operations and, through collaboration with the South Korean Lotte group and others, will work to attract domestic and international performers, including K-pop artists. Anticipating use for corporate and community events as well, they aim for an 80% occupancy rate and more than 300,000 visitors annually.

At a press conference held in Osaka on Thursday, Lotte Holdings President and CEO Genichi Tamatsuka said, "We want to make this project a success and strengthen our entertainment business in Japan." Nomura Real Estate Development President Daisaku Matsuo expressed high expectations, saying, "(Thanks to a rich live entertainment experience) Shin-Osaka might become a completely different area in five to ten years."
