Hubei Energy (SHE:000883) signed a framework agreement with the Enshi prefecture government to invest about 8 billion yuan in clean energy projects during China's 15th Five-Year Plan period.
The partnership covers the Linxihe hydropower project, 1,000 megawatts of new wind-solar-storage capacity, and integrated energy initiatives around airport and high-speed rail infrastructure, according to a weekend filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
Shares of the energy company were down 1% in recent trade.
