Catalyst Metals Says Drilling Increases in Western Australia Gold Deposit Resource by Around 280%

Catalyst Metals (ASX:CYL) said drilling at Keillor underground and open pit gold deposit in Western Australia increased the resource to 3.2 million tonnes at 3 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold for 307,000 ounces, an around 280% increase, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

First ore from Keillor was mined in the June quarter, per the filing.

The indicated portion of the underground resource, which is the focus of current mining operations, has increased by around 500% to 187,000 ounces.

The company's shares fell past 1% in recent trading on Wednesday.
