SCYNEXIS (SCYX) has named Sanjay Subramanian as chief financial officer, effective Sept. 9, the company said Thursday.

He succeeds Ivor Macleod, who has retired but will remain at the company through Oct. 9.

Subramanian has more than 20 years of finance and business development experience, most recently as chief financial officer at Inozyme Pharma, the company said.
