1021 ET - Investors may have overlooked Oracle management's focus on its AI Data Platform, a layer in which artificial-intelligence systems can operate using proprietary enterprise data. The company's commentary, though, underlines what StoneX analyst Yi Fu Lee sees as the centrality of data for enterprise AI adoption. Both Oracle and Snowflake are now "effectively arguing AI models matter, but proprietary enterprise data determines who captures long-term value," Lee writes. "This continues to support our view that data infrastructure remains one of the most attractive layers of the AI stack." The Oracle first-quarter report implies positive read-throughs for Snowflake, MongoDB, and the private company Databricks.
