1500 ET - The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield is edging back up toward5% amid a sharp bond sell-off, erasing some of the earlier declines following the Labor Department's release of August CPI data. The U.S. 10-year yield trades at 4.975% near its highest level of the day and at its highest intraday yield since October 2023. The U.S. 2-year yield still trades around 4.644%.
