THE DEAL: A new nine-bedroom home in a gated mountain neighborhood in the Deer Valley resort in Park City, Utah, has sold for $37 million. The sum is the most expensive home-sale price recorded within the city limits, according to broker Steve Jury of Keller Williams Park City, who represented both sides of the deal.

THE SELLER: Raymond Uritescu, CEO of Providence Realty Investments, a Rhode Island-based real-estate investment firm. Uritescu declined to comment on the deal.

Uritescu bought the property as an empty lot in 2021 for $6 million, Jury said. He began listing it on and off the market around 18 months ago for $39 million. The home took four years to build and was completed this month.

THE BUYER: Jury declined to identify the buyer.

THE SPECS: The home is in the gated and guarded Bald Eagle Club, and spans roughly 17,000 square feet with a heated outdoor pool and 11 fireplaces. Previously, the highest recorded home-sale price in Park City was $25 million earlier this year, Jury said.
