Canada Goose Holdings chairman and chief executive, Dani Reiss, has acquired company shares worth over 1 million Canadian dollars as the stock price hovers around its 52-week low.

The Canadian apparel company, known for its pricey winter parkas, on Thursday said Reiss acquired 100,000 subordinate voting shares in the company through purchases on the open market for an average of C$10.623 (US$7.69) a share.

The purchases were made though Reiss's holding entity DTR LLC.

Combined with his prior holdings, including 20.1 million multiple voting shares, Reiss now controls roughly 21% of all Canada Goose's outstanding shares and about 36.3% of total voting power, the company said.

Canada Goose shares have been under significant pressure in 2026, falling about 41% since the start of the year to close on Wednesday at C$10.51, near its 52-week low of C$10.50.
