Shares of Corbus Pharmaceuticals rallied after the company said it would host a webcast to discuss topline data for a study for an obesity treatment.
The stock was up 20% to $9.75 in late trading on Friday. At market close shares were roughly flat year to date.
Corbus said the webcast, scheduled for Monday at 8:00 a.m. EDT, will discuss data from a Phase 1b study of CRB-913 for the treatment of obesity, and include comments from an investigator for the study.
CRB-913 is a once-daily oral treatment. The company said it offers a new therapeutic option for obesity beyond GLP-1s and other incretin-targeting therapies.
