GS Holdings (KRX:078930) will contribute 200 billion won to subsidiary GS AI Infra, according to a Monday filing with the Korea Exchange.

The South Korean conglomerate will contribute 80 billion won in September while the rest will be invested in the fourth quarter.

The parent's contribution will rise to 224 billion won after the transaction.

The funding will be channeled for the subsidiary's AI data center-related investment costs.

Shares of GS Holdings fell nearly 2% in recent trade.
