Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI is closely looking at investment potentials in Canada, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing George Osborne, the company's head of international liaisons.
Osborne told Bloomberg on the sidelines of Canada Investment Summit that the country is a very important market for OpenAI.
Osborne also noted the potential for data center partnerships, citing the availability of energy and land, according to the report.
OpenAI did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
