0729 GMT - The euro could fall against the dollar if the Federal Reserve raises interest rates on Wednesday and signals the prospect of further tightening, ING's Francesco Pesole says in a note. Global equities and short-term rates are currently the biggest drivers for the euro versus the dollar, meaning a Fed rate rise that hits market sentiment would easily take the exchange rate to ING's short-term target of $1.15, he says. The euro falls 0.1% to $1.1536, staying close to Monday's one-month low of $1.1522, LSEG data show.
