Catalyst Metals (ASX:CYL) said the ore reserve for its Trident underground gold deposit in Western Australia has increased 32%, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The company said the ore reserve for the deposit now stands at 524,000 ounces at 4.2 grams per tonne gold, with an anticipated mine life of about 10 years at a steady-state annual production rate of 60,000 to 80,000 ounces.

Development of the Trident underground mine is currently underway with 250 meters of development completed and first ore expected in calendar 2027, the filing added.

The company said its September 2025 10-year guidance should be seen as a general guide to management's long-term plans for the Plutonic Belt's future production, with future guidance to be updated to reflect new changes.

The company's shares rose 4% in recent Monday trade.
