Three analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of CA$0.08.
Revenue for the quarter ended July 31 was CA$3.8 million, up from CA$3.2 million a year earlier.
Three analysts expected CA$4.5 million.
Shares were down more than 5% in after-hours trading.
