SK hynix (KRX:000660) has launched a corporate venture capital brand, SK hynix Ventures, to expand its presence in the global artificial intelligence ecosystem, according to a Friday statement.

The semiconductor supplier said the new brand will broaden its investment scope from semiconductors and emerging technologies to the wider AI ecosystem.

It aims to identify high‑growth technologies and companies in core AI sectors including computing, data centers, system software and optical interconnect.
