Roundtable (RTB) said Thursday it entered a $1 billion deal with Paradium.AI (PAAI), formerly The Arena Group, to migrate, operate, and monetize Arena's media portfolio on the company's AI and DeFi-powered MediaOS in a bid to deliver a profitable ecosystem to media brands and journalists.

Under the 10-year agreement, two dozen brands and around 100 million consumers will migrate to the MediaOS operating system, which eliminates publishers' operational overheads by replacing antiquated systems with a single AI-based platform, the company said.

Roundtable added that it expects a $100 million in annualized revenue and an EBITDA-positive run rate on a stand-alone basis.

The deal is expected to close by Q4, subject to conditions, including Roundtable's minority investment in Paradium.AI, according to a statement.
