Stryker Facing Promising Setup Next Year, Trading Upside Limited in 2026, RBC Says

Stryker (SYK) will likely see an acceleration story in 2027, with high single digit growth achievable and over 10% organic growth a possibility, amid an intact capital environment for next year as well as a stable procedure volume scenario, RBC Capital Markets said in a note emailed Thursday.

The investment firm said it caught up with Stryker after "continued headwinds in the peripheral vascular space and orthopedics business" and sees "limited upside" for the rest of 2026, amid an over 19% year to date drop in the company's shares.

This year has become a transition year for Stryker due to the business headwinds as well as impact from the cyberattack from earlier in 2026, the note said.

However, 2027 is "shaping to be an acceleration story," the note said, adding that "further upside is predicated on clear visibility into capital orders and surgery schedules as well as healthy underlying businesses."

RBC reiterated Stryker's outperform rating and $420 price target, citing the company's solid setup for 2027.
