UBS Group AG (UBS) CEO Sergio Ermotti said Monday, at the Bank of America Financials CEO Conference, that the bank is making good progress on its current plan heading into Q3, with integration work with Credit Suisse nearly finished.

Ermotti said front-office staff are increasingly focused on clients rather than being "distracted by integration topics."

Ermotti said UBS is seeing good momentum in wealth management and transaction activity. Although he expects transaction activity to be lower than the unusually strong third quarter of 2025, he said an increase from a year earlier would still be positive for the investment bank.

Ermotti said completing the remaining integration work by year-end should improve the bank's cost base and support its 2027 results.
