Carlyle Group (CG) is preparing for the potential initial public offering of its Highway Roop Precision Technologies unit, which could raise up to $400 million, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing sources familiar with the matter.

The company is working with Goldman Sachs Group (GS), Kotak Mahindra Capital, JM Financial and Nomura Holdings (NMR) on the IPO, which is targeted for H1 2027, sources told the news outlet. The share sale will include primary and secondary shares, the report added.

Details of the IPO are being finalized and remain subject to change, Bloomberg said.

Carlyle Group and Highway Roop Precision Technologies did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
