Financial stocks were advancing pre-bell Monday, with the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) 0.6% higher.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was up 1.6% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 1.7% lower.

Qfin (QFIN) said late Sunday CEO Haisheng Wu will step down from his role, effective Sept. 21, and will be succeeded by Yan Zheng, the company said. Shares of Qfin were down 1.5% premarket.
