Glacier Bancorp is increasing its quarterly dividend by 6.1% to 35 cents a share, up from 33 cents.

The new payout, equal to $1.40 a year, represents a 3.2% annual yield based on the company's Tuesday closing price of $44.16.

The dividend is payable Oct. 15 to shareholders of record as of Oct. 6.
