Galan Lithium (ASX:GLN) said it remains on schedule to deliver first lithium chloride concentrate sales from its Hombre Muerto West Phase 1 lithium chloride operation in Argentina in the fourth quarter of the year, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The company said the nanofiltration plant continues to deliver impurity separation in line with piloting results and expectations, with plant productivity improving throughout the ramp-up period, providing confidence the initial targeted throughput rate of 4,000 tonnes per year will be achieved.

Earthworks associated with the initial expansion of Hombre Muerto West to 5,200 tonnes per year have commenced on site, the filing added.
