Nvidia (NVDA) is backing Australian artificial intelligence startup Firmus Technologies in negotiations for a roughly $10 billion financing package to acquire chips for a data center in Indonesia, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The potential transaction features about $7.5 billion in debt split between senior and mezzanine tranches, along with roughly $2.5 billion in equity, and the facility could have a five-year term, according to the report.

Nvidia would provide credit support and revenue sharing to help reduce repayment risks, Bloomberg reported.

Nvidia and Firmus Technologies did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
