Sierra Nevada Gold (ASX:SNX) will launch a 25,000-meter phase two exploration program at its As Safra copper-gold project in Saudi Arabia, with two diamond drill rigs and one reverse circulation drill rig scheduled to be operational by Sept. 30, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

A third diamond rig is expected to arrive in late October, followed by a fourth diamond rig in mid-November, the company said. Drilling is expected to continue through to March 2027.
