Vale (VALE) will partially resume operations at the Fabrica Mine in Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, following court authorization in the state, the company said Wednesday.

The resumption is based on a Commitment Agreement between Vale, the State Public Prosecutor's Office, and the state of Minas Gerais, according to the company.

The company said it will comply with applicable safety, environmental, licensing, and authorization requirements.

Vale said the resumption will not change its current production guidance.
