OceanaGold's Chief Executive Officer Gerard Bond is retiring in April 2027.

Bond will retire following after his five-year anniversary of joining the gold and copper producer, the company said on Wednesday. He agreed to provide advisory support on the transition following his departure.

The company said it has appointed the executive search firm Spencer Stuart to evaluate internal and external candidates for Bond's replacement.
