Electronic technology shares gained the most on New Zealand's Exchange, rising nearly 3% by midday Monday.

Shares of ikeGPS Group (NZE:IKE, ASX:IKE) rose almost 3% in recent trade.

On the flip side, the distribution services sector struggled, shedding over 1%.

Vulcan Steel (NZE:VSL, ASX:VSL) shares fell around 2% in recent trade.
