Advanced Innergy Holdings (ASX:AIH) appointed Brendan Cocks as chief financial officer, effective Thursday, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

Andy King, the company's current CFO, will move into the newly created position of chief corporate development officer, the filing said.

The company's shares rose around 8% in recent Monday trade.
