Shares of Kodiak Sciences surged ahead of the company's planned readout of topline results from a Phase 3 study of an eye disease treatment.
The stock was up 17% to $38 in after-hours trading on Friday. Shares closed down 2.6% at $32.35, and are up 16% year-to-date.
The biotechnology company said Friday that it plans to report results from the study evaluating both Zenkuda, or tarcocimab tedromer, and KSI-501, or tabirafusp alfa tedromer, to treat wet age-related macular degeneration.
The readout is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. ET on Monday.
