Asset World's (SET:AWC) REIT aims to raise at least $1 billion through the listing of a new real estate investment trust to finance the expansion of its hotel and commercial property business, Bloomberg reported Sunday, citing CEO Wallapa Traisorat.

The hospitality and real estate company intends to invest into the REIT through its four hotels and office building worth around 48 billion baht, with a listing slated for early 2027, the report said.

The company expects foreign institutional investors to take up half of the initial offering, according to Wallapa, as cited by Bloomberg.

Asset World was not immediately available to MT Newswires for comment.
