Atomic Eagle (ASX:AEU) started a value optimization and technical review program at the Madaouela project in Niger, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program is designed to assess opportunities to boost project scale, expand mining inventory, and improve project economics relative to the 2022 feasibility study, which was completed under a "materially different" uranium market environment, the filing said.
The company is expected to release the converted Madaouela mineral resource estimate in the fourth quarter of the year, with the first output of the optimization program anticipated to be a scoping study slated for release in the first quarter of 2027, per the filing.
